CHAPTER PRESIDENT Susan Lamar I am a retired law enforcement officer who has lived and worked in the DC area over 45 years. I have been a member of EWGA since I started golfing four years ago. When nominated for Secretary two years ago, I saw an opportunity to get involved with the DC Metro Chapter. The EWGA has helped me to grow as a person and as a golfer. The women of the Chapter have supported me during difficult times and cheered me on during rounds of golf. I have grown so passionate about golf that I started working for Golf Galaxy and became a professional club fitter and club repair specialist. I hope to continue on as the President of our Chapter where I will have the opportunity to recruit new members, attend leadership conferences and give back to the women of the Chapter as they have done for me.   CHAPTER VICE PRESIDENT Jennifer Flather Recently retired from the United States Navy after 25 years, I bring to the table incredible dedication and leadership. In recent years, I have concentrated on events, specifically, Tournament Tour, but I understand that all aspects of EWGA are important, especially league play, which is key to bringing new golfers into the fold. Through the EWGA DC Metro Chapter, I have made friends for life and that, to me, is what golf is about – it is not just the competition, but the camaraderie that women in particular bring to the game. I hope to continue to bring new golfers into EWGA, keep the ones we have and continue to improve EWGA as the Golf Organization of Choice for Women around the world.   CHAPTER TREASURER Janet Montague I am a Managing Partner of Software Directions, Inc. We work with organizations to put in place cost savings tools, policies and procedures for the effective management of their wireless environment. I have a BS from Indiana University of PA. I joined the EWGA DC Metro Chapter in 2001. I have served as a League Captain, captained many events and have been the Chapter Treasurer for the last 4 years.
